about feelings that are hidden but clear at the same time

Hiding in the mountains
Tucked away in the snow
Reflection from afar
There will soon be a glow
The blackness in the air
Is oh so clear
but the energy in the air
Is very different here
From atop the edge there is a drift
From the ground to above there is a fear
Thank-goodness the end is very near
