WAITING

A poem i wrote

Waiting!!!
On hope,
On life and
On love.

Waiting to act,
Waiting for a push,
Waiting for a light.

Heart Longing,
Looking for a sign,
For assurance of things yet to come.
Things that might happen,
Things that could happen.

They say good things come
To those who wait,
But sometimes waiting
Can leave an empty space.

Still I continue to wait.
I wait in patience,
I wait to change,
I wait for an epiphany.

An epiphany that might one day
Take me away from
My current reality,
And I can find fulfillment.

I don’t know why I wait, but I continue to wait.
Am getting tired of waiting,
The end is getting nearer,
Can’t wait to stop waiting.

Tick, tock, tick tock,
An hour left, till closing time.
An hour like a life time,
Can’t wait to stop waiting.
