Picture day in all it's glory. |
| Rushing around till half past eight, Danny swings through the gate. Stomping in puddles, running through grass, He has to get to class. Over the hedges, air swishes through hair, Last bell rings, he's in his chair. Morning buzzes, English then Math, Lunch recess, he needs a bath. One by one, kids stand in line, Fussing and preening, until it's time. Poised for perfection, images shot, Smiles flourish, lights burning hot. Danny approaches, eyes gleam with delight, Truly an unruly, unkempt sight. Hair another victim to wind, Grass stains splattered across shins. Rips hinting across his shirt, Face a mess, covered in dirt. Photographer takes picture with ease, As Danny proudly, simply says, "Cheeeeese." Line Count: 20 |
