Is anything ever
what it seems to be?
Or is it all a lie,
just another fantasy?

I loved you once
and you broke my trust
how could you?
how dare you!
I loved you, you putz!

The tears I feel
coursing down my cheeks
isn't me
I'm not weak, and naive
so why didn't I see
through the facade
you've painted for everybody?

I don't know why
and I'm giving up on you now
I'm walking out of your life,
if you can call it that
through the web of lies.

The lies that are woven
day to day
can break a persons trust
and turn them away.

Remember that now
and maybe one day
you'll see
A life isn't life
without love,
and lies destroy all
that you see.
