My aunt has emerged out of death's chamber and is now recovering.

She opened her eyes after

month long stupor.

Relieved glances from near and dear

following days of creeping in and out

Pulmonary embolism, Septicaemia, cardiac failure-

Medical jargon left

everyone more and more perplexed.

How long would the endless trauma continue?

Defying all odds,

Proving soothsayers wrong,

Interns-their tests and reports negated!

Divine Doctor answered the call

The uncertainty- it ended.
