memories of him
Yellow Roses and You


There he stood; a simple man
With yellow roses in his hand.
Making promises on that day
To be faithful in every way.
A bush for each of our years.
When he died the bushes cried.
Tending them with a love so true.
Counting my blessings, roses and you.
