A poem, I guess

Just a poem, its been a while

When does the day begin?
Wake up?
Work?
It begins after work for me
After the trial
A trial of skills
Skills that I've practiced over and over
Is it a challenge
Sometimes
Mostly no
Do I want a challenge
No
The challenge is what we avoid
Challenge could mean death
or not
Is that what makes us better
it might make me worse
Of course I get practice
But its fake
When does the day begin?
