Nine

.Andy lost his battle with cancer. .You are in my heart Andy.

My hero is strong as no other.

He is small, his bones are fine.

Why must he die?

He is only nine.



He is innocence.

The way it was meant.

He is laughter and a cheer.

Through all his pain and fear.



I lightly kiss his bald head.

As I hold him tight in bed.

He committed no crime.

It is not his time.



I cannot say goodbye.

It will make me cry.

What went wrong?

I should be strong.



But,

My hero is strong as no other.

And I am proud to call him my brother.
