Stuck in a depression that no one can see.
I open up my eyes to see
That they can’t see this ghost of me.
A scream for help without a word
Escapes my lips, but won’t be heard.
They shoot a glance quick to my eye
But turn their heads as if to cry,
“My life is all too good today
To be poisoned by your dismay.”
