Caged Heart of Mine

A heart filled with desires....

Stuck in dark days
My life’s like a caged bird
Banging on the bars as crazy
Trying to find escaping ways

Watching the sky with longing
Each tear in my eyes will say
Just give me a freedom’s day
To fly with sense of belonging

One day of free flow
Of feelings as easy as ink
That day sadness will sink
And a happy breeze will blow.
