A little poem I wrote for my dad

Today is a day for
Someone special in every way
A day on which no one should be sad
Because it is a day for my dad

Though we can not be together
Remember our growing love for each other
I know this isn't much
But I hope your heart it will touch

So congratulations on another year
A year in which you helped a child conquer fear
