A rhyming poem about talking walls. |
| If walls could hear and walls could talk What do you think they’d say? I’m sure the tales that they would tell Would take your breath away Forget the programs on T.V. No way could they compare With what the walls would have to say About some ones love affair Heads of state would incriminate All secrets would unfold Revealed at last the sordid past Who took the bag of gold? A scene of crime would disclose the time The dirty deed was done No need to investigate The thief would be undone Unfaithful spouse libido would douse When indiscretion was disclosed There would be hell to pay I think When the secrets were exposed But walls can’t hear and walls can’t talk And I guess it's just as well What goes on behind closed doors No one will ever tell. |
