"No Island is a Man"

The phrase "No man is an island" made me write "No island is a man". Yay for dyslexia!

Drifting in its flooding tears
We do all we can

The sharks surround, in circles swim
The hurricanes rock down every limb
That trees bend to every whim
No island is a man.

Drowned in liquid grief
Never seeking relief
From fire to water, birthed
Drifts alone the wayward earth.
No island is a man.

For man breeds man
While islands break apart,
Man creates gods of equal heart
