a reflection on the current environmental issues

I can barely get out of bed
to face this world.
It is burning, and bringing me down too.
Schemes of green
and ways to fill your SUV
but really, it's about the money.

The human heart has been broken.
given up on its first true love: nature.

With occasional visits,
just to satisfy the expectations of separation.
but only causing more damage.

Nature, she waits for you, hoping you will take her back
hurt her no more
but it's going to take more
than her beauty, apparently.
The outcome will be fatal
is it suicide or homicide.
