Life Is Like Riding A Bucking Horse

When the ride gets rough pull her head up
And ride her on through
But if she manages to up lift your seat
And plant you on the ground
Bow your head and thank God for a safe journey down
And ask God for the courage and wisdom to go another round
Get up and brush yourself off
Steady yourself and always to be gentle and talk soft
Get back in the saddle
With the wisdom of a lesson well learned
And take her for another turn
And when the ride is smooth and all the kinks worked out
You then will know without a shadow of doubt
The joy of getting through a rough ride
And a job well done will always give a man a little pride
But always remember to get back on
And thank God for the courage and wisdom to carry on
