It's the concern in your voice when you ask if I'm alright
It's the way you kiss me soft before telling me goodnight

It's the look in your eyes when I show you my new dress
It's the soft sympathetic pat, when I fail to impress

It's your hand on my face, wiping away a tear
It's holding me tight, when you're calming my fear

It's why I catch myself daydreaming for no reason at all
It's the reason I get giddy when I see you call

It's the silly way I love to steal your shirts
Its the wonderful times we laugh until it hurts

It's dancing in the moonlight while you sing our song
It's weekends reconnecting after being away so long

It's the reason I live to see every bright new day
It's the reassuring embrace that drives my doubts away

It's our future and out past, It's real and it's true
