The Serpent's Mistress Meow, a cat cuts through the silence Aroo! A wolf howling in the distance Tap, tap, tap. Do you feel her presence? Here she comes, the mistress of violence! Whip, wham, whack—the victim struggles to stand Giggle. Giggle. She waits, amused and wondering whether the man will withstand or crumple under what she has planned… Snap! With that signal, there goes a hiss. With eyes wide—Thud!—he gives the ground a kiss. The sleek, slender snake, without remiss slithers, set to send him to the abyss. Meow, meow, the cat purrs in delight. Pitter-patter, she walks through the night.
