If you viewed it closely you would come to see

An American flag representing all those “free”

He continues to gobble and gorge with glee

As those crawling forth look on with silent pleas

Thin-boned, sunken eyes and starved faces

Their décor so saddened hope soon too erases

Shirts of small countries dangle off of sharp bones

Musty, hot sweat trickles over dark skin tones

The fat boy’s knees suddenly give with dismay

He stumbles and treats spill every which way

The nations reach out to grab just a single one

But fat hands slap away and he only pokes fun

An image such as this is surprisingly not rare

Simply picture the things you never would share
