| “Don’t leave me here!” I scream flailing my arms, bruised - yet beautiful, frantically gripping each thread they wear. Eyes wide, saliva trickling down my face, I scream. “Don’t... Here, please” I gurgle, useless. They are gone. The speed of light is no comparison to the way they run, light strives to be light, to be fast and consistent, they simply are – effortless. My helpless screams transform into the snarls of nightmares. Heart racing, I run. The unsuspecting pulse is singing sweet and succulent songs, calling me.
Leaving my lies far behind me, my feet hit the ground, the solid indescribable earth, with rhythm that calms. Rhythm that alters me into a sleek hunter, a lethal predator. Turning my crimson eyes to the Moon a screech of true being emerges from deep within, I am home.
We dance in the moonlight, predator and prey. This intricate sequence of twists and lunges, will inevitably turn deadly but for now we are a picture of decorum. Every sense attuned to this very task, I can taste him through the metres that part us. I can feel his heart, racing, disturbing the silent vibrations of the surrounding woodland. With striking speed and elegance I plunge, my razors pure white are soon stained blood-red with desire for more. In this moment the red oozing pleasure is all I live for, the reason for my existence.
