What is a Man Without His Word?

The title was the question, the poem is my answer

I’ve been asked time and again:

What is a man without his word?

I’ve pondered the question, and I have come up with an answer-          You may or may not agree-

You still have a man, full of strengths :
         One who is sensitive and caring
         One who is demanding with high expectations
         One who does what it takes to meet his goals
         One who is supportive and kind
         One who is intelligent and insightful
         One who is humorous and quick- witted
         One who knows the value of a true friend
         One who is confident and well versed
         One who is gifted and talented
One who believes in and lives by values that most have thrown away

You see, 
You still have a man that is honorable. A man that in the end will keep his word, no matter the cost to him.

Will you trust me when I say, 
I am honored to be your friend.
