Somebody once told me
Be careful with your heart
But I didn’t listen
And he tore it apart

Somebody once told me
Be careful who you love
But I didn’t listen
And he wasn’t good enough

Somebody once told me
Be careful who you trust
But I didn’t listen
And he said he lied cause he must

Somebody once told me
He doesn’t love you
But I didn’t listen
And I found out it wasn’t the truth

Somebody once told me
Listen to your heart
I’m glad I finally listened
Now we’ll never be apart
