Only in embracing diversity at a soul level can we claim the world as we envision it.
Change the world - one hand at a time,
I'll hold yours, while you hold mine.

White to brown - and brown to black,
We can take our world back.

Mothers, fathers - this calls to you,
What will you teach your children to do?

Their hearts are pure - they know no hate,
Teach them love before it's too late.

On her knees - a mother weeps,
A world away our children sleep.

She lost a son - in the name of Jihad,
But how could hate be the will of God?

I wiped her tears - they mixed with mine,
We looked to heaven, hers and mine.

We knew no fear - I felt her pain,
The view from our knees was all the same.

There were no guns - there was no war,
We saw that love was what God was for.

We changed the world - one hand at a time,
While I held hers and she held mine.

White to brown - and brown to black,
We can take our world back.
