Dear God... Why are you angry with me?
Is it that I failed to see
the bigger plan you have in mind?
Or that I refuse to follow your wisdom?
I do trust that one day you'll be much kinder to me
understanding
You'll be able to see
that I am not wrong when I don't close my eyes to pray
or call you God
I don't read the Bible
I don't go to church
But hear me when I say
I keep my eyes open to see you
Your not god... You're my symbol of peace
one day you'll see through
the lies I make to protect myself
But Peace... you must be looking
because I am stubborn... I don't believe that easily
and I don't always close my eyes
Because you appear as fast as lightning
and simplicity is all that matter
