A love poem looking at hope fulfilled.
When Time Came Around

In our beginning love was an hexagonal:
There was no void, but much to fill in;
There was a sense of power in our relationship,
One that created love for two names;
We both shared our breath,
We became vessels, like two boats moored in rough seas;
Music, or harmonies played roles subject to
The height and depth of our own choosing;
Two faces of one truth, looking as the written
Word called or having written, displayed a comely
Light of reconciled differences - we did fight dragons
By day, and treacherous thoughts by night, we wove
A tapestry of our hearts being one:  then, as moments do
We sank away in understanding from each other, and
Began the void, and each of our lives surfaced;
I wore a mask, you a gown, star studded with efforts,
Our time apart made the hexagon a triangle, and a mystery
Unfolded - we met again, as great lovers of life and each other;
A crystal fire now burns and transforms our daily unforseens
Into revelations of bliss and immortality.
