Our mother earth has become sick as we humans have exploited it too much.
A new child is born and so is a,

Huge celebration,

Bright in looks and sharp in brains,

Here comes a new generation.

So much skill and so much talent,

Mother is in adulation.

She runs helter-skelter with,

Pride and admiration,

Not a single other in universe has

Such a diverse population.

Bacteria, virus, algae, fungi

Are whispering recitation.

Trees, flowers, fruits and seeds,

feed him to satisfaction.

Shark, elephant, birds and monkey,

don’t show any botheration.

Lakes, mountain, hills and river

too  have no objection.

Celebration! Celebration! Celebration!

      The infant changes the world,

      With discoveries and invention;

      New comfort, new milestones,

      jubilation and recreation;

      Machines and technology,

      Bring leisure and vacation.

Progress and unbridled freedom

leads to perturbation

Floods, fire, landslide

gives  the kid perspiration.

Poverty, greed, population

take the road to corruption.

Infighting among the sibling,

leads to confrontation.

Toys like bombs and missiles

are weapons of total destruction.

Afraid of his pranks,

species are on extinction.

Youngest ones are often naughty,

Will put mom on ventilation?
