Christ in me - Christ in you

A poem that expresses the truth that we are reflections of Christ.

The simplest of all truths
Yet the most difficult to live out

Christ dwells in me
Christ dwells in you

When I see you-- I should see Christ
When you see me-- you should see Christ

This truth should change everything
How we respond to one another
The graces we extend to one another
The love we express to one another

We are all in the process of being perfected
Being conformed into His likeness
Getting the outside to match Who's on the inside

Acknowledge His Presence within
Surrender to His promptings within
At work, enabling and empowering us
Cultivating and developing "the fruits of the spirit"

Moment by moment
Trial by trial
Glory to glory

May I truly become a reflection of Christ to you
And you to I

As is His Plan
As by His Power
All for His Glory
