Virtues of Poetry Entry - Rough on the outside. What's inside?
Yelling, “Let’s rumble!”
He’s on the run
Rough and tumble
Laughing, having fun

Wild and loud
Charging up the slide
Was this allowed?
Stomping up the downside?

When other mothers whisper and stare
Watching his glee
Should she care?
He’s just six and free

He heard a yelp
A girl took a hard landing
He ran to help
His face filled with understanding

Her wild one
Suddenly sympathetic
Her rambunctious son
Undercover empathetic
