Light Behind My Eyes

See the world behind my eye

Where oceans bleed and humans die

In this land of midnight sky

I fear my soul shall never fly



Though I fight through this night

Searching for the morning light

Bringing safety to my plight

Hoping only to catch your sight



Your love the only light for me

Burning my chains setting me free

Alone in the dark I'll never be

Because you are the light for me
