When darkness comes

This song was created as part of a writing project I'm working on.

The sun shone high in the air
Waiting for me to breath
The veil of light
It masked the darkness beneath
I wasn’t fooled
Just a fool

In the same place
I hold my breath and wait for the veil of light
So I can breath after the darkness comes.
