Hope

Take a second and recognize.
The subtle truths.
The little lies.
Put out your friends,
And realize.
Life abides no whys.

Close your eyes and feel the light,
Amid the trees,
Framed by the skies.
Another path,
For you to fly.
No tears to blind your eyes.

Darkness can no longer be,
The truest path.
You must be free,
Come this day on,
No more to flee.
Take warmth from here and seed.

Walk along another road.
The dust will calm.
The wind will blow.
Breathe in deep,
And feel the glow.
This truth is all you know.
