What I think should go through a criminal's mind when he's running from the cops
Criminal
Run
Don’t let them catch you
Twenty-five to life
Life or death penalty
Hide
They won’t find you, you hope
Search everywhere
Hounds tracking your every move
Don’t breathe
They’re near you
So close, you can hear the dog’s heartbeat
They’re closing in on you
Trapped
Caught red-handed
The cold metal bands wrap around your wrists
Mercy
Judge and Jury
Guilty of everything in the book
Robbery to rape
Rape to child abuse
Abuse to murder
Death by injection
Is a permanent justice
