the lost People of the Clouds
I stand upon the heights
and walk among the clouds
Far from civilization's grace,
old secrets here to rouse
In the twilight of eternal fog
reality starts to fade
So far from the world I knew,
the colors bleed to gray
My wits are all that's left to me, I'm near my journey's end
Pressing forward I have to wonder if I'll see my home again
Ancient mysteries call me onward
ever deeper, darker, down
Their power here grows stronger,
I can feel them all around
The living far behind me,
the spirits here have fled
I have climbed into the heavens
to walk among the dead.
