My first and only attempt at free verse
Funerals and grey clouds
clash with
well-dressed survivors.

Future plans
of ours remain
on hold
continuously.

An indirect
smile makes this
sadness
comfortable.

Sorrow
and grief
are twins
with tears
without
having spoken
a word.

Desire
is fleeting
realizing
that regrets
aren't worth the
agony.

Nothing...
is lonelier
than
goodbyes
never said.
