Poem - Independence

Independence. Independent?

Independence?¿?



Is it something, that money can bring?

Is it winning a war, and hymn we sing?

A country we can call our own,

or something deeper,feeling within the soul?



Is it turning your back to your friends,

being in control and always so tense?

Is it saying no to rules and reculatios and

walking away from un-nice situations?



Is it not to be able to give and take and

something, that makes you hollow and fake?

Or being real to and following your heart

by overcoming fear and even having a new start?



Is it something that nothing can touch

or something that cost for you too much?

Is it quality of mind and free lifestyle

or being poor but still owning a beautiful big smile?



Is it surrendering to the Higher Power

or to own a house including hot shower?

It must be something that sets you free..

For me it is happiness without reason and fee.
