Five years ago today, something happened that I will never forget.
I lost my friend in an accident.
As the years go by, the pain slowly creeps away,
Yet the memories of the times we shared will never vanish.
I learned something then,
...Always be there for those who are close to you;
For someday they will go.
Sometimes life can be very short and not a day goes by that I don’t miss my friend,
Yet I won’t ever forget all the fun times we had.
And I especially won’t forget that last day, her last day…

I just want to recognize my friends and family.
Just know that I’m always here for you.
You are the reason I go on each day.
Thank you all for everything;
For all the moments we shared,
...All the fun that we have had,
And all the support to make it through rough times.
I hope for many more days of fun times and good memories.
