Sorrow floods my heart
Like the saline waves bury that which is not buoyant, your elusive eyes shut to my riddles.
See Me!

Confusion drowns my mind
Like foreign tongues fall deaf upon alien words, your curses may well blessings be, leaving me mute.
Hear Me!

My touch will never know you
Like Pluto for the Sun pines, my distance keeps me from you, the black hole that consumes me daily.

I shall remain your ever-changing constant, your Beacon in the dark where you will never moor
I shall remain the never-changing ebb to your flow, your Tide I am, deep- shallow when  you navigate my thoughts

Time, no matter how vast, will never bring you to me
Space, no matter how near, will allow you to know me
Like the Polar Masses we attract, alike, will sadly never meet
And yet, my North, each night forever I'll lay stars at your feet
