Just a poem about waiting for public transportation

Impatiently Waiting

She stands on the corner
and waits for the bus to arrive.
Taps her foot,
checks her watch,
wonders if it's going to be on time.
She looks down the street,
then looks the other way;
and wonders just how long it's going to take.
She checks her watch again
and sees that the time grows near.
She thought about grabbing a latte
but oh the calories she fears.
With a huff, a sigh, and a roll of her eyes,
she decided to wait;
what else could she possibly have to do that day?
