For those who long for love
I want to be the cause of the
         smile on his face.

I want to be the cause of that
         empty feeling space.

I want to be the cause of the
         sparkle in his eye.

I want to be the cause of his
         contempt for goodbye.

I want to be the cause of the
         hand he's holding tight.

I want to be the cause of the
         thoughts he thinks at night.

I want to be the cause of the
         face he's holding still.

I want to be the cause of his
         never fading will.

I want to be the cause of the
         calm after the storm.

I want to be the cause of the
         panic he transforms.

I want to be the cause of the
         pain if we should part.

I want to be the cause of the
         love within his heart.
