Advice for writers.....if you are one, you know what I mean

Get rid of your wife, unless you have a very good one

Get rid of your kids, even if you have good ones

Get rid of your dogs, especially if you have kids

Get rid of your TV

Get rid of your computer

Don’t live near any traffic

Don’t have a job

Have a place to go

In the mountains

On the beach

In the desert

On a park bench, in a quiet park

But never under a bridge; bridges are noisy

Have some addictions:

The most important addiction is writing

Then tobacco

Then alcohol

Then food

Caffeine will do you no good

Family will do you no good

Birds will do you good

Flowers will do you good

Cool breezes on hot days and

Hot fires on cool days
