A WALK IN THE PARK

It’s a gorgeous spring day.
Take a walk in the park.
Everyone’s gathered there.
They left work on a lark.

Listen to the birds sing
As they hide in the trees.
Relax in the swing
And listen to the breeze.

The flowers are in bloom
Their fragrance fills the air.
As the bees zoom and zoom
And gather pollen there.

The children are at play
With balloons, balls and kites.
Moms with babes in strollers
Enjoy the nice spring sights.

With smiles on their faces
Lovers walk hand in hand,
While music softly plays
Drifting from the bandstand.

Have a little picnic.
Invite a friend or two.
Just relax in the sun.
The park is there for you.
