A poem about a couple's night at prom
He was a junior,
She a sophomore.

He asked her to prom,
She ran home to tell her mom.

The day came, pictures were taken,
Already clear, his heart was taken.

They walked so all could see,
He felt tall as could be.

They ate dinner and talked,
To the dance floor they walked.

It was awkward at first,
But then the joy burst.

That night was his first dance,
Experienced nothing like it in the past.

Midnight the dance was done,
But the fun had only begun.

He took her home in his car,
Knowing their love would go far.

That night sparked a love,
A love more beautiful than a dove.
