Everyone has moments when we wish we would have said one thing or another. Here is mine.

I wanted you to acknowledge me.
I wanted you to take my hand
      in front of everyone.
I wanted you to follow me
      when I stormed out.
I wanted you to seize my arm
      and force me to look into your eyes.
I wanted us to scream at each other
      in the parking lot.
I wanted you to kiss me in the rain
      to an awful pop soundtrack.
I wanted you to come home with me.
I wanted to feel your weight on top of me.
I wanted to feel your skin all around me,
      and inside me.
I wanted you to want me
      and to need me.
I wanted you...
