Inspiration and perspiration put together produced this poem
Dying for you

A thousand nights I’ve tried to rest,
Without you in my troubled head,
Trying to keep you away from my mind,
Robbing you the place you had in my heart

There was nothing, therefore, to live by,
You were my everything, you were my sky,
You were the sun, guiding my days,
You were the moon, ruling my nights

Now I have learnt, without you there’s no life,
My existence is illuminated by the brightness of your light,
Meaning is your substance; reason is your essence,
Without you in my soul, I don’t think I can survive

I am sitting on my bed, on the edge wishing you back,
Regretting over the fact that I let you go so fast,
An instinct makes me go, and pick up my cell phone,
I dial your number and find myself saying:

“I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE,
BABY PLEASE JUST COME BACK HOME”
