A poem about a relationship in which one person feels they should go back to being friends

Nothing I want more..

To stare into your eyes forever,

Nothing I want more..

To feel your touch my whole life..

Nothing I want more...

To love you, to be loved by you, for eternity

In another life..

It could be...

I would make you stay...

Its impossible,

Were two different people,

Two different worlds.

We cant endure this

It kills me to say..

We need to split

Find that ones that make us whole,

Who makes us happy 24/7

Our saviors down from heaven

So, I say adieu

In hopes you start a new..

In hopes that WE start a new

And can be just friends.

Like before.
