There are different kinds of perfection.

If you were only perfect.
No mistakes would blot your record,
And critics would be at a total loss.

If you were only perfect.
Your beauty would be a model,
And artists would yearn to paint your likeness.

If you were only perfect.
Your voice would inspire composers,
And your counsel would be sought by all.

If you were only perfect.
The world would make you queen.

But, if you were only perfect.
You wouldn't be the love of my life.
