An Easter message.
|On his knees in complete submission,
our Savior weeps. His tears fall as he
prays for another way. Ready to lay his
life down, he looks up; there is no other
way. The terrifying reality is here at last.
His blood is to be shed so mankind can
As he prays he realizes that he's alone,
and he alone can bear man's sin. The
weight is crushing, almost too much to
bear. He who had no sin must bear this
burden, to carry and absolve the sin of
all mankind; past, present, and future.
He is lifted on the cross between God
and man. The perfect veil. When God
looks at us, he sees the purity of Christ.
On that cross hung between Heaven and
Hell, he paid it all. The perfect Lamb was
slain. They put him in the grave, and
sealed it tight.
When Mary came to visit behold the
grave stood open and Mary cried out,
where is my Lord? An angel bright in light
said, he has risen as he said he would.
