A Senryu poem for Round 38 of Pond Poetry lamenting the loss of individualism.

Once we were unique.
Persons hitherto valued,
now carbon copied.

This Senryu poem was written for Round 38 of the "Pond Poetry - ON HIATUS! contest using the image above.

A Japanese poem similar in structure to haiku, a Senryu is more concerned with human nature, and is often humorous or satiric--usually in three lines of seventeen kana, or syllables (in American terms).  This poem follows a 5, 7, 5 syllable line pattern.
