Final surrender of a broken love,
To close the chapter of what could never be.
I show myself to you in abandon,
Yet closing the very vein that you caused to bleed.

Torn between self respect and desperation,
Holding back the tears that want to fall,
I say goodbye to you, my darling,
saying what i need to say, yet not saying it all.

Grieving the memories of lost happiness,
I cut the cord that binds me to you.
So many questions that needed answers,
But more so do I need to let go.
