winter seems harsh and yet when the snow falls it is silent.

Frozen

Snowflakes fall gently around me their silence comforting in the brisk night air. The world is at peace even if it’s just for a brief moment. The snow has always been the same each piece a heavenly shape. No matter how much the world around me has changed the snow still falls the same. Silent, gentle, and beautiful even in the city. The falling snow glides from the puffy clouds’ weary crying forms. Time seems to hold still; held up by the brilliantly white flakes dancing down to the earth.
