An Ode to a Ferret

A poem I wrote about my love for Ferrets =3.

Oh ferret, my ferret
Floppy, wiggly, and sly
Your nearsighted vision
Causes me to cry

Thy razor claws, thy tiny paws
Thy oily fur you secrete
Shifting, crawling, you graze the ground
And wind up at my feet

Ever vigilant, ever brave
Small with a big bite
My interest you peak, my socks you seek
As you war dance in respite

With the boneless form that you adorn
You're not too hard to huggle

But when night comes, I see you run
Next to me to snuggle

Oh ferret, my ferret, I pray that we don't part

For your pleasant features that warm my soul
Have found a place in my heart ^ ^ :D XD =3
